Martial arts films still appeal to the French market. The feature film The Warriors Gate is featured in the Europa Corp line-up for March.
With a pitch with some similarities to "The Forbidden Kingdom" (film released in 2008 that reunited Jet Li and Jackie Chan), The Warriors Gate has some selling points that should appeal to fans of the genre. The young gamer who finds himself propelled into this incredible world is Uriah Shelton, a regular in the series. He is surrounded here by some names that will speak to connoisseurs of Asian cinema since Mark Chao (Detective Dee 2) and especially Francis NG (Exiled, Infernal Affairs 2) complete the cast. The actress Ni Ni plays here the princess in distress. We hope that this is the way for her to enter other circles. Dave Bautista, Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, is the big villain of the film.
The film will be released on March 22 in cinemas.
