Not everything is awesome for Warner Bros: the famous studio recently announced that the sequel to The Lego Movie would be postponed.
Originally announced for May 18, 2018, the sequel to Warner's cubic film has been pushed back almost 1 year and is now scheduled for February 8, 2019, almost 5 years after the first installment. The Lego Movie 2 is not the only film to have been jostled in the firm's calendar: Geostorm, a film starring Gerard Butler (The Fall of London, 300), saw its release scheduled for January 13, 2017 finally postponed to October 20 of the same year.
Fortunately for fans of The Lego Movie, the Batman and Ninjago spin-offs will be maintained on their original dates: February 8 and September 27, 2017 respectively.
