After many postponements and false starts, that's it: The Flash has finally started filming under the direction of Andy Muschietti (It). And Michael Keaton will be there, to resume his role of Batman. This is a real (small) event. After many postponements according to the changes of directors and screenwriters, The Flash finally began filming this Monday, April 19.  Moreover, director Andy Muschietti wanted to immortalize the moment by unveiling the electric logo of the solo film worn by Ezra Miller. The lightning-fast superhero that we had the opportunity to see recently in the Snyder Cut of Justice League, will face Supergirl (Sasha Calle). And as if that were not enough, Flash will face not one, but two Batman: that of Ben Affleck, who should appear at the beginning of the story, and that of Michael Keaton. Yes, you will understand! Michael Keaton will don the Bat Man costume again. This is surprising when you consider that the actor had recently expressed his doubts about the idea of reprising the role he had held with Tim Burton in 1989 and 1992. The plot is still kept secret but everything suggests that the powers of Flash will transport him to an alternate reality: that of Michael Keaton's Batman. Thus, Warner and DC will take advantage of this film to formalize their multiverse grouping all their films and series. It is recalled that the last cross-over to date, Crisis on Infinite Earths, had already begun to install this by bringing together Ezra Miller and Grant Gustin, his counterpart on the small screen, for a scene. The Flash is expected in our cinemas on November 2, 2022. The film could partly be inspired by the comic book Flashpoint in which the hero goes back in time to prevent the murder of his mother, without suspecting the consequences that this will have on the present. A story that, at the time, had rebooted the entire DC universe on paper. Thus, no one knows if Warner will not use it to make some adjustments… Anyway, the project is finally about to materialize! Moreover, the film has already found its composer in the person of Benjamin Wallfisch. This is an opportunity for him to find his compatriot Andy Muschietti after the diptych Ça. Partner of Hans Zimmer on Blade Runner 2049, he is no stranger to the DC universe on the big screen, since he had signed the soundtrack of Shazam! In 2018. And besides, the American public had the chance to discover his work on Mortal Kombat, since the new adaptation of the video game was released across the Atlantic on April 23. While waiting to discover The Flash by Andy Muschietti in our dark rooms, we invite you to (re)watch the trailer of Mortal Kombat by Simon McQuoid : https://youtu.be/B_SeNjJ5qyk
