This is the story of a film that lives to the rhythm of Paris: Paris is a party, the feature film financed through crowdfunding and made by a vibrant passion for cinema and the unpredictable, will be broadcast on Netflix in early 2019. A success for this beautiful team, and for the renewal of a younger cinema, symbol of a whole generation.

The film team announces in a message on Facebook on Friday, September 28 that their film Paris is a party will be broadcast on the streaming giant Netflix: a crazy bet launched almost four years ago, which finally finds its fulfillment. This challenge is that of Elisabeth, Paul, Noémie, all those who helped finance the film on Kickstarter, and a whole generation balanced in a frightening Paris but burning with hope and life. It is to this generation that the young directors, producers, actors of the film wanted to give the floor, the place and the image, to make this work that of a little everyone, by filming the highlights of recent years.

"The most important thing for us is that you all have access to the film, wherever you are, rather than in a few theaters. It is also to offer you the film as we wanted it and not as we were told to do.

Netflix is a conscious choice. Cinema is an art before it is a place."

It is therefore a great success for the young directors and actors of this film to give Paris such a celebration of visibility. Starting from a fairly simple starting premise (Anna misses her flight, and this plane crashes) the film then becomes the generational mirror of the survivors, of those who live and wonder what their future is. Elisabeth Vogler's second feature film (after the documentary Blanchisserie de France) seems to promise us a new way of making cinema rooted in reality. While waiting to discover this work, you can always help the film on its Kickstarter platform right here, and watch the very promising trailer of the film.
