The Circle is undoubtedly one of the most promising films of this year 2017!
Let's recap! We have an iconic Harry Potter figure in Emma Watson associated with the face of Star Wars, John Boyega. To this young duo is added the irreplaceable Tom Hanks. And to complete this trio of shocks, we have a film that deals with the technological excesses of our society by anticipating the unhealthy democratization of micro-cameras (if it reminds you of 1984, don't worry, it's normal!)
Between the cast of hell, the deep theme and a realization that seems particularly neat, The Circle promises to be a very large-scale project. An accessible film dealing with a subject that already concerns us all in one way or another. The film is directed by James Ponsoldt (The end of the four) who seems, at first glance, to have done a very good job. Moreover small aside: although this work already seems to be a small nugget of realization, we can be surprised to imagine the appearance that this film would have had if it had been directed by the brilliant Andrew Niccol, specialized in themes of the same genre (Welcome to Gattaca, Time Out, Good Kill …).
So let's stop fantasizing and enjoy without moderation the trailer of The Circle, which will arrive here on July 12. We can't wait!
