The city of Alsace will host in September the European Fantastic Film Festival, an event that since 2008, has been convening the elite of international fantasy production. A short tour of what this 9th edition will offer us, focused under the seal of the serial-killer.
Taking place as usual in the Star, Vox and UGC Ciné Cité cinemas of the Alsatian village, this 9th edition will take place from 16 to 25 September and will be devoted (in particular) to the figure of the serial-killer. Jack the Ripper, the Zodiac Killer, Norman Bates, all will pass there to the delight of fans, who will also be able to boast of the presentation of some films from around the world, and being screened for the occasion, in the company of film crews. It should also be noted that in addition to the Official Competition, the Festival will offer a Crossover section, dedicated to genre films (thrillers, film noir, etc …) ; Section which will also have its own competition and jury. To this is also added the fans of the event, such as the Zombie Walk, the projection of an open-air film in front of the cathedral of Strasbourg, the holding of several Masters Classes, as well as an exhibition with a still secret theme.
But it's not just cinema in life. And that, the Festival has understood it well since the organizers of the event have announced that the India Game Contest, the competition to celebrate independent video game developers, will be renewed for a 5th edition , and that it would enjoy this year a bonus, since a selection of Virtual Reality experiences is to be expected.
