Comedy is not the sector where French cinema has shone the most in recent years. Some creatives such as Igor Gotesman, fortunately stand out from the crowd to deliver quality productions. StudioCanal distributes from March 30 in theaters, Five, the first film of the young filmmaker. Led by Pierre Niney, one of the best French actors of his generation, the film seems to have some arguments to seduce the public.
This is not the first time Igor Gotesman and Pierre Niney have been working together. They worked together on Pour le rôle and the short program Casting(s). The teaser called "Dégaine de m…. " is well representative of the freshness brought by these actors.
Synopsis:
Five childhood friends have always dreamed of living in a shared apartment. When the opportunity to move in together arises, Julia, Vadim, Nestor and Timothy do not hesitate for a second, especially when Samuel offers to pay half the rent! Barely settled, Samuel finds himself on the straw but decides not to say anything to the others and to assume his part by starting to sell grass. But is not a dealer who wants and when everything gets out of hand, Samuel has no choice but to turn to the only family he has left: his friends!
