It's official, Brad Pitt joins Leonardo DiCaprio headlining Once Upon a Time in Hollywood . Headliner who will surely see rush, on August 14, 2019, many fans in the dark rooms of France.

The renowned director has indeed formalized both the casting and the title of his new film according to the specialized site Deadline. A nod to Sergio Leone (Once Upon a Time in the West and Once Upon a Time in America), even if Tarantino's film is not a western.

His story takes place in California in the 60s and traces the murders committed by the "Family" of Charles Manson. The plot focuses particularly on that of Sharon Tate, then wife of Roman Polanski. Nevertheless, true to form, the director of Pulp Fiction complicates the script by telling more generally the life of Los Angeles in 1969 and those of a former television star Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his understudy Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt).

After more than 5 years, Leonardo DiCaprio reunites with the filmmaker for his ninth feature film. For Brad Pitt, this reunion puts an end to nearly 10 years of non-collaboration. By renewing ties with these two actors, Tarantino is delighted with this new duo:

"I've been working on this script for 5 years and I've lived in the Los Angeles area most of my life, especially in 1969 at the age of 7. I can't wait to tell this story of a Los Angeles and a Hollywood that no longer exists. And I couldn't have been happier with the dynamic that DiCaprio and Pitt form as Rick and Cliff."

For the first time in his career, "QT" will try to put a story and real facts on the big screen. Another novelty, the director had to separate from the Weinstein Company following the scandal related to the fallen producer Harvey Weinstein. Sony Pictures will then be distributed for the first time a film signed Tarantino.

Favorite actor of the director, Samuel L. Jackson unsurprisingly finds himself alongside DiCaprio and Pitt in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Sharon Tate will be played by actress Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad). It now remains only to discover who will play Roman Polanski and the criminal Charles Manson.
