The release of Star Wars VIII is fast approaching and is more and more felt! After a new trailer under tension released a few days ago, now a promotional clip also appears.

We are now less than two months away from the discovery of the new installment of Star Wars VIII – The Last Jedi. And whatever one may think of the previous episode, one thing is certain: this episode will be decisive regarding the direction that the saga will take. Disney and Lucasfilm are therefore eagerly awaited at the turn with this sequel.

Thus, the production offers us in this new promotional clip a (very) small glimpse of the atmospheres to which we will be entitled in this new episode. On the program, the unbeatable Millennium Falcon, the planet Ahch-To on which Luke Skywalker is sheltered as well as the brand new planet Crait, which has the particularity of being rich in minerals and in which we find a curious red dust. We also find some brief interviews with the film crew, including the two new muses Daisy Ridley and John Boyega. They seem pleasantly surprised by the turn of events and indicate that their characters will be developed individually in this new opus. Let's hope this is true because we have to admit that the characters were sorely lacking in psychological development in Star Wars VII – The Force Awakens. The only one to have had the right to a minimum of background was Kylo Ren (no offense to haters) and even he was much too light in terms of psychology. Finally, we find the mythical Mark Hamill in his wise old man's costume, as well as the late Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.

It should be noted that the company with big ears has decided to focus on the "dark" aspect that the saga will take in Star Wars VIII. So let's hope that this is not just a PR stunt and that this episode will really take the story and its context seriously. However, we can be confident, since Rian Johnson is a director who has already proven himself, especially with (the excellent) Looper.

This new opus will be released in French cinemas on December 13, 2017 and the more the weeks pass, the more the wait is felt. So let's hope that this wait will pay off and that the episode will live up to what it promises. While waiting to discover all this, discover now the new images of Star Wars VIII – The Last Jedi
