We are only a stone's throw away from the release of Star Wars 8. The Disney studios dropped a beautiful bombshell this morning on the web with a particularly successful trailer that is content to distill here and there, some interesting details about the plot.
After an episode 7 seen by many fans as a rehash of the first film of the franchise, the challenge is big for the successor of J.J Abrams. From the outset, the tone is set in these new images that turn out to be very dark, probably revealing the atmosphere that will prevail there.
The new generation, embodied here by Rey and Kylo Ren, will play a vital role. Their stories are inextricably linked and the director seems to take a malicious pleasure in torturing the brains of fans by embarking them on different (false?) Tracks.
If we place ourselves on the side of the fans of the saga, the highlight of this trailer will certainly be the return of a Luke Skywalker who seems completely outdated and who reminds us of his former Jedi master, Yoda.
Many blockbusters (the latest trailer of Pacific Rim is not a great success, it must be admitted) should be inspired by the excellent work done in the editing room. The images presented contain many details that announce several epic moments, but they leave doubt about many things such as the fate of some key characters, and the path that others will take.
