J.K. Simmons, the actor who played J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies, has revealed that he has signed with the Marvel Cinematic Universe for several films. The character of Spider-Man is one of the most beloved superheroes by fans of the Marvel Universe. An ongoing project plans to reunite Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the last three Spider-Man on screen. In addition, another well-known character is making headlines. Indeed, J.K . However, he also explains that his return is not certain. Indeed, it all depends on the studios' desires to include or not his character on screen again. "When we signed for the first film, the contract also included two sequels. Which in my case was a one-way contract, that is, I am obliged to comply with it, but they are not obliged to use my character in future films."
Meanwhile, the actor revealed that he has signed on for four more appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The next Spider-Man movie is originally scheduled for a theatrical release on November 5, 2021. Nevertheless, the date could be changed, since filming has been interrupted by the global health crisis.
