While the trailers fuse in this Comic Con about project already in production for a long time, a long question remains unanswered for several years, who will interpret the character of Captain Marvel, supposed to join the Avengers against Thanos in Infinity Wars ? Now we have the answer!
Adorned with many mysteries, this revelation has long remained secret in the ranks of Marvel Studios, surely for fear of seeing an influx of additional criticism, which they certainly do not have time to manage, given the pace of production of their feature films. To know who would play and direct Captain Marvel, a very important clue was given to us: the actress and the director have the same first name. The predictions became much more difficult and it was finally Comic Con that got the better of most of the theories thriving on the Internet. Thus, the famous superheroine woman will be played by Brie Larson, actress recently Oscar winner for Room. The director is, however, still unknown.
Brie Larson, best known for States of Grace, in which she is overwhelmingly sensitive, but especially for Room, released last year and for which she won the Oscar for her wonderful performance. A high-flying choice for Marvel, which is not at its first attempt with Oscar-winning performers (Anthony Hopkins to name but one). Apart from this information and if the clue left by Marvel remains correct, we must look for directors called Brie, which leaves us with a very meager choice of women appointed as such, in this position. We would think more that Marvel confused us to better surprise us, even if we would have hoped to know the name of the project manager on this evening.
As a reminder, Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 5, 2019!
