It's official: the scenario of the fairy tale Sadé belongs to Disney Studios.
While we now know the release dates of the next two Disney, Jungle Cruise and Maleficent 2, the production company already announces a future film in live action: Sadé. It will tell the story of an African princess with magical powers. Alongside a prince, she will have to do everything to defeat evil and thus save her kingdom.
Sadé is therefore added to the list of many ongoing projects of Disney studios, alongside Cruella, Disenchanted or Aladdin. Ola Shokunbi and Lindsey Reed Palmer are at the helm of this script. Currently there is no director or casting in sight yet, let alone a release date for this live-action film.
Sadé is part of a cultural diversity to which the giant Disney attaches more and more importance over time, whether with the cartoon The Princess and the Frog which is already almost 10 years old, or more recently with Vaiana, Coco and Black Panther which were great successes.
We just have to wait for new information to know more about this new project "Made in Disney" !
