Fantastic Beasts was released in French cinemas on November 16, 2016. The latest from the universe of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling was more than expected by fans, as well as moviegoers. We tested the Blu-Ray DVD: verdict!

Synopsis : New York, 1926. A mysterious force wreaks havoc on the streets, threatening to reveal the existence of the wizarding community. At the same time, Norbert Dragonneau arrives in the city at the end of a journey around the world: he has listed a bestiary of fantastic animals, some of which are hidden in his suitcase. But when Jacob Kowalski, an unsuspecting non-Maj', accidentally frees some of these creatures, they will have to unite to find them before it's too late. These unlikely heroes have no idea that their mission will lead them to face the forces of darkness.

Bonus content

In the bonuses of the DVD and Blu-Ray box set of Fantastic Beasts, we find first of all a making of composed of several featurettes. After these laudatory images, we are immersed in the world of the film by distinguishing three elements: the characters, the fantastic animals and the settings. We would almost like this part of the bonuses to be a little more in-depth, as we have the impression of flying over an impressive work of which we will not know much in the end. Finally, some cut scenes are available, such as the song of the American school of magic sung by the Goldstein sisters.
