In Overdrive, Scott Eastwood and Freddie Thorp will play two car-stealing brothers. They will face Simon Abkarian and French rapper Kaaris. Thus, after dating Dominic Toretto aka Vin Diesel (who bears his name in our article) and his family in Fast & Furious 8, Scott Eastwood will have fun stealing cars in the movie Overdrive.
Shot in the south of France (cocorico!), Antonio Regret 's film (The 100, Arrow) tells the story of two brothers who are experts in luxury car theft and who will find themselves forced to work for the godfather of the Marseille Mafia in order to steal a Ferrari 62. The two brothers will therefore have to show ingenuity and quickly find allies.
Produced by Pierre Morel (the director of Taken) and written by the writers of 2 Fast 2 Furious, this supercharged action film is a perfect mix of Taxi and the Fast & Furious saga. We will be entitled to two endearing and funny brothers who are great stuntmen and who own superb cars but also to villains and betrayals by having for scenery the landscapes of the south of the France.
Finally, on the casting side, we will find the son of Clint Eastwood but also Freddie Thorp, Ana de Armas (Wardogs), but also the French Gaia Waiss (Les profs 2), Simon Abkarian (Kaboul Kitchen), Moussa Maaskri or the rapper Kaaris who will return to the cinema after Fastlife and Braqueurs.
