We are taking small steps, but we are moving forward. After several setbacks on the set, then announcements from Disney indicating a potentially failed film, Solo: a Star Wars Story is revealed a little more with this time the official synopsis.
"Hop aboard the Millennium Falcon and let yourself be drawn to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the galaxy's most beloved bandit. Through a series of escapades in a dark and dangerous criminal world, Han Solo meets his powerful future co-pilot Chewbacca and meets the famous bettor Lando Calrissian, in an adventure that will establish the destiny of one of the most atypical heroes of the Star Wars saga.
A few lines that remain vague, but that still confirm a film that should focus on Han Solo and his escapades in the darkest places of the galaxy. Scheduled for next May, it is one of the first films in the new Lucasfilm franchise to tease their film so late. For previous projects, a trailer was sometimes shown a year before release. Still none for Solo, but we're patient.
As a reminder, Han Solo will be played by Alden Ehrenreich, who will be on the bill alongside Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Solo's mentor. As for the unknown characters, we know that Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Thandie Newton will also be present in the film but we do not know their character yet.
