The Dolphin Man, in the footsteps of Jacques Mayol

Documentary directed by Jean-Marc Barr.

Synopsis: In 1988, Le Grand Bleu was released, a film inspired by the story of Jacques Mayol. This hitherto almost unknown freediver suddenly becomes an international star. Its history has influenced a whole generation of young people in their way of understanding the sea. A journey in the footsteps of this lover of the sea, to discover what his life was and what legacy left behind this man who was the first to descend to 100 meters deep in free diving.

Operation Beirut

Documentary directed by Pauline Pelsy-Johann.

Synopsis: At the Fleury-Mérogis prison, in Essonne, inmates chose to read, learn literature and poetry. Between detention and reconstruction, the film brings a look that allows us to approach differently the men and women who live and are locked up there. It is also a starting point for a global reflection on the notion of punishment, between punishment and amendment.
