Ridley Scott's film, House of Gucci, is currently filming in Italy. On her Twitter account, Lady Gaga shared a first snap where she poses alongside her movie husband Adam Driver.
Nominated for an Oscar in the Best Actress category and winner of the Oscar for Best Original Song for A Star Is Born (her last film appearance), Lady Gaga has just unveiled the first photo of her new film: House of Gucci by Ridley Scott. The singer plays Patrizia Reggiani, the first wife of Maurizio Gucci, played on screen by Adam Driver. Currently filming in Italy, the film, also starring Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston and Frenchwoman Camille Cottin, is adapted from the novel The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden. The feature film looks back at the assassination of Maurizio Gucci on March 27, 1995, grandson and heir of Guccio Gucci, the founder of the famous Italian luxury brand. His future ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani, ordered his murder in order to receive his share of the inheritance before Maurizio remarried Paola Franchi played by Camille Cottin. The latter, blonde for the occasion, and Lady Gaga also began touring together earlier this week. After appearing in the third season of the American-British series Killing Eve, the Ten Percent and actress was hired to star in Tom McCarthy's Stillwater starring Matt Damon and Abigail Breslin. Lady Gaga, meanwhile, will then join the set of Bullet train, David Leitch's next action film alongside Brad Pitt, Andrew Koji and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. House of Gucci will be released in theaters on November 24, 2021 in the United States.
