Killers of the Flower Moon : coming soon to Apple TV+
Produced by Imperative Entertainment, Appian Way and Apple TV+, Killers of the Flower Moon will be released in select theaters in the United States and then on Apple TV+ by 2022. And the American company at the apple has just shared a first glimpse of the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone. The action takes place in Gray Horse, Oklahoma in 1919. DiCaprio plays the role of Ernest Burkhart. And Lily Gladstone plays Mollie Burkhart, a woman of the Osage Indian people who falls in love with Ernest. A bond is created between them when Mollie invites him to share a meal. For this new film, Martin Scorsese called on his two favorite actors namely Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The director had already shot with them five and nine times respectively before Killers of the Flower Moon. The rest of the cast includes Jesse Plemons, Pat Healy, Lily Gladstone, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, Janae Collins, Jillian Dion and Scott Sherpherd. The screenplay is by Eric Roth. It is recalled that it had to be rewritten after Leonardo DiCaprio's decision to change roles and play Ernest Burkhart, the nephew of William Hale (played by Robert De Niro) rather than the Texas Ranger, Tom White. The original role of DiCaprio was taken over by Jesse Plemons. We can't wait to see DiCaprio and De Niro together again in Killers of the Moon, the latest Scorsese. It just remains to be seen if we will see it in a movie theater or in our living room.
