The reboot of the Fantastic Four is eagerly awaited by fans. It seems that John Krasinski has never been closer to getting a role in the Marvel Studios film. As you may have noticed, John Krasinski is one of the hottest actors and directors right now. Revealed to the general public in the cult comedy The Office, Krasinski made his directorial debut in 2018 with the horror film Without A Noise.  A little reminder for those who have not had the chance to see the film: it is the story of the Abbott family who must escape a supernatural threat. The only way she has to get out of it is to emit no sound or noise of any kind. Scary isn't it..?

The film was a real success at the global box office with no less than $ 320 million in revenue. A reason why Paramount did not hesitate to renew the experience and, thus, plan a second part whose release has been postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. This sequel will obviously be directed again by John Krasinski. But the film Sans un bruit has a peculiarity. Indeed, John Krasinski is both behind and in front of the camera. He is at the side of Emily Blunt who is none other than… his wife for almost ten years now! They are also the proud parents of two little girls. During the promotion of Sans un bruit 2, the actor and director spoke to Total Film magazine. Indeed, John Krasinski answered the question of whether he would ever like to join Marvel Studios. His answer was not long in coming:
"I'd love to join the Marvel Universe indeed, I love these movies because they're fun and incredibly well produced. I even have friends who are there."
John Krasinski as Mr Fantastic?
This has the merit of being clear! It is obvious that following these words, we begin to dream of the next role that John Krasinski could play. Obviously, the one we think of first is that of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic. The leader of the Fantastic Four at Marvel. For years, he has been the number 1 choice of fans. Just like Emily Blunt to play Susan Storm, the invisible woman married to Reed. Moreover, Emily Blunt would have met at the end of 2018, the teams of Kevin Feige to discuss a future role to come. In any case, John Krasinski is ready to join the family of the Marvel Cinematic Universe including to play Reed:
"I have no idea what Marvel has in mind but if they think of me for Mr. Fantastic, let them continue, I would love to do it."
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt would be two shock recruits if they were to join the MCU especially when we know that it could have been done at the beginning since Krasinski almost played Captain America. Indeed, he was in the final against Chris Evans while Emily Blunt was to be Black Widow. The actress had to give up the role a few weeks before the filming of Iron Man 2. By joining the upcoming film dedicated to the Fantastic Four planned after 2022, the iconic couple could make the dream of fans come true. Better, Kevin Feige would have everything to gain if he entrusted the direction of the film to John Krasinski.To be continued.
