For those who complain of a lack of risk on the part of French cinema, they should be seduced by the trailer of the genre film, "Dans la Brume", which plunges us into a Paris plagued by an unprecedented situation. This is the first feature film by Daniel Roby, who was a director on Canal Plus' Versailles series.
Anticipation films being rare in France, we can only encourage such a project. Led by a duo of talented actors consisting of Romain Duris (one of the best French actors of his generation) and Olga Kurylenko (international actress), Dans la brume has strong arguments to achieve a good score at the box office when it is released on April 4, 2018.
A mysterious mist covers the French capital. In order to survive, the top floors of Parisian buildings seem to be the only alternatives. In this ambient chaos, a father and a mother will have to fight to save their daughter who can not get out of her bubble.
Inevitably, moviegoers will think of The Mist, manga enthusiasts will make a parallel with Sprite. We still want to trust the film team (we find Guillaume Lemans, an artist who has proven himself) who we hope will convince more distributors to trust science fiction projects.
