The film is based on a true story found in the book All The Truth Is Out by Matt Bai released in the United States in 2014.
On the casting side, J.K. Simmons, Vera Farmiga, Mamoudou Athie, Josh Brenner, Kaitlyn Dever, Sarah Paxton, Ari Gaynor and Mike Judge will also be there. For now, the film does not yet have a French release date.
Already known for Juno or In The Air, The Front Runner will be Jason Reitman's 8th feature film. But before this political film, Reitman will unveil Tully, his new film with Charlize Theron. It will be a comedy about motherhood and its little hassles.
