The actor is still undecided about his role in the clawed mutant and talks about a possible return to the role of Logan.

No one else has been able to play the iconic role of Wolverine since his first appearance in X-Men in 2000. Since this film, Hugh Jackman has always been the only actor to get into the skin of the mutant. As we gradually discovered his next appearance in Logan, we learned that he decided to leave his role to someone else. It could have been the perfect ending. After 17 years of good (and bad, it must be said) movies, Hugh Jackman would have left Wolverine on Logan. However, following a new interview with the New York Times, he made it clear a possible reversal of jacket:

"When I read the script, I said yes (I'll stop after this one, editor's note). When I shot the film, I thought the same. But hey, God knows what I'll do in three years, even if for now it's certain (that I stop, editor's note)."

In addition to a rumor of a possible appearance of Logan in the next X-Men, we all hear about a crossover between Deadpool and Wolverine. Launched by Ryan Reynolds who would absolutely want to see the birth of such a project, the film could be called Wolverine v.s. Deadpool. As the name suggests, it would be a clash between the two eponymous characters. In view of the delay that the sequel to Deadpool (postponed to 2018), this project tends more to the fantasy of fan than to the real project , already launched on track.

The Australian actor still wanted to clarify that he would not end his career, and that he would not be the only actor to embody it:

"Let's be clear, I'm not retiring. There was a big imbroglio that I didn't really take the time to deny. I always had doubts before making a film, with this one (Logan, editor's note), I had less. […] The character will continue to live without me, someone else will embody him for sure. That's fine with me, unless Daniel Day-Lewis plays it and wins an Oscar (laughs), that might bother me."

Logan is the mutant's third solo film and is certainly the most anticipated of them. The film clearly seems to want to cut itself off from the atmosphere that the other films wanted to trace by its atmosphere and theme.

We will meet in French cinemas on March 3 to discover this feature film that promises to be sensational.
