Comment j'ai rencontre mon père directed by Maxime Motte with François-Xavier Demaison and Isabelle Carré deals with current subjects in a touching way.
The film features Enguerrand, an adopted little boy of African origin. He lived with his parents in Normandy, not far from the place used by illegal immigrants to go to England. There he meets a migrant whom he mistakes for his biological father and who will upset the daily life of the small family.
François-Xavier Demaison (The Outsider) will play the role of a clumsy daddy hen but full of affection for his adopted son. Isabelle Carré will take on the role of a courageous mother who carries her entire family on her back.
Maxime Motte's first feature film promises to be a well-thought-out dramatic comedy about issues such as adoption and immigrants. All this filled with humor and love.
In cinemas on June 7th!
