The Disney brand continues to be talked about! After a Disney + platform that has conquered the hearts of its faithful, the imminent release of two new films Soul and Raya and the last dragon, a new live action is on the way: Hercules.
Serial remakes
The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Dumbo, Beauty and the Tramp and Beauty and the Beast were able to see the light of day again thanks to Walt Disney Studios. The brand regularly innovates by offering ever more modern remakes. The cartoon Robin Hood (1973) is also in preparation in a hybrid format between CGI (digital effects) and live action. This time the remake will be in the form of a musical. While we were supposed to discover the courageous Mulan on the big screen on March 25, the date has been postponed and is for the moment unknown. But Disney is not to be outdone since the live action of Hercules (1997) is in preparation! We'll tell you more…
(Very) encouraging rumours
The Hercules project is not yet advanced enough to have the cast. What is certain is that Dave Callaham (Wonder Woman 1984) has been chosen to write the script, and brothers Joe and Anthony Russo (Avengers: Endgame) will be producing. Alongside the brothers, Jeffery Silver and Karen Gilchrist who both worked on The Lion King will be present. As for directing, Jon Favreau is approached (Iron Man 1 & 2, The Mandalorian) as well as Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, 3). All this promises Ancient Greek battles of great quality! But who will lead them? According to our research, some avenues are considered for roles, but without certainty. Would Disney leave us some clues on social networks? This is what triggered the rumor that Ariana Grande would play the dark Megara. The singer unveiled a video of herself on Twitter singing the famous song "Won't say I'm in love". Note that Ariana would not be in her first role as an actress since she has already played in Victorious, Hairspray, Zoolander 2, and Men in Black: International.

Any other clues for casting?
The website We Got This Covered has suggested that Benedict Cumberbatch will play the master of the underworld, Hades. The main hero of the film, the mythical Hercules, is not yet certain either. Several sites talk about Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood, Tarzan). Two very good actors in short, fingers crossed! In addition to this, Disney intends to keep all the music of Hercules and even add new ones. Enough to remind us of the good things! Although only the production team is confirmed for now, all this information seems to be flawless. A shock team appears at the direction, while charismatic actors could play the main roles!
