First image of Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury!

No more black hoodie and nerd look in Mr.Robot. We discover the first photo of Rami Malek in the role of the famous Freddie Mercury.

Rami Malek seems to want to put an end to his role as a psychotic hacker that has been following him for a few years now. We found him recently in the movie Buster's Mal Heart always in a character out of phase, and he will obviously be present in the next season of Mr Robot of which he holds the main role since the beginning of the series.

A few months ago, we learned that he had landed the role to play in the film about Queen, we now discover the first photo of his look that seems implausible. It is indeed difficult to say that it is indeed Malek that we took in photo with this style, and not Mercury, 30 years ago.

What do we know so far about the film? Bryan Singer (X-Men) will be at the helm of this musical film for the moment entitled Bohemian Rapsody, in obvious reference to one of their most famous titles. The film will focus mainly on the period between the formation of the band in 1970 and the Live Aid concert in 1985 held at Wembley Stadium near London.

Even though the film will talk a lot about Mercury, the other members will have their place in the film. They will be played by Gwilym Lee (Brian May), Ben Hardy (Roger Taylor) and Joseph Mazzello (bassist John Deacon). It would even seem that the director will give himself a role, that of Paul Prenter, manager of Freddie Mercury.

The film is expected in France for February 2019.
