In 1997, Maurice Chan, Amédéo Cazzella and Christophe Dupuis, three friends from Chellois, gave birth to the collective Cascade Demo Team. Twenty years later, the team has 24 artists from different worlds, mixing martial techniques, stage fights and acrobatic feats. The date of their next screening evening is fast approaching.
They follow various and varied projects, between filming and live shows. The list of films in which the members of the collective have shot testifies to their impressive success: Spectre, Lucy, Brice 3, The Transporter: Heritage and more recently, Dunkirk and Valerian (non-exhaustive list). Competent and talented, they are now among the most sought-after French stuntmen, in France and abroad. You have been able and can also find them backstage or on the stages of Disneyland Paris, Parc Asterix and even Cirque du Soleil. In addition, they have participated in several versions of the show "Incredible Talent": you may have already seen them in 2014 in La France a un incroyable talent where they reached the final.
But these stuntmen have several strings to their bow and also set up their own projects. Passionate about martial arts and cinema, Ben Milord joined the team in 2002. After working with directors such as Jacques Audiard and André Téchiné, he directed his second short film Beast in 2016. The latter will be screened during an event organized on Tuesday, January 17 at the Etoile Cosmos cinema in Chelles.
During this evening, several productions of the members of the troupe will be broadcast, and the screening will be followed by a meeting in a nearby café. The opportunity to discover quality short films and exchange with professionals, amateurs and / or film enthusiasts. A beautiful evening in perspective!
The session starts at 20:45 (better to arrive early), and places are limited.
