In theaters on September 19, the trailer of Love is a party has just been released. A French comedy by Cédric Anger, starring the duo Gilles Lellouche and Guillaume Canet. The pitch? The world of Parisian porn in the 1980s.
After Le Grand Bain, the acolytes of Les Petits Mouchoirs meet to play the bosses of a Parisian peep show in the heart of the 80s. Serge (Gilles Lellouche) and Franck (Guillaume Canet) are the managers of Mirodrome, a club in debt. To get out of it they decide to embark on the world of pornography. A risky bet but one that pays off for a while, until Serge and Franck's club is destroyed and they are forced to work for their competitors. But what the others do not know is that the two friends are actually undercover investigators who have come to undermine the pornographic environment.
The feature film has a look of multiple reunions. Indeed, Cédric Anger had already directed Guillaume Canet in The next time I will aim the heart in 2014. The same goes for Guillaume and Gilles. For his new film Le Grand Bain, in theaters on October 24, 2018, Gilles Lellouche has shot Guillaume Canet. The latter returns the favor with the filming of the sequel to Les Petits Mouchoirs which bears the name of We will finish together and scheduled for March 27, 2019.
A very eighties trailer for a total immersion in a universe where morality confronts the underside of pornography and where it is easy to get caught up in the game…
