While the summer period is often synonymous with holidays for stars of the small as well as the big screen, some of them do not have the same mentality. This is particularly the case of three stars of the series Game of Thrones who decided to devote part of their time to meet Syrian refugees in a camp based in Greece.
Game of Thrones stars Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworthy) took a few days off and moved away from Westeros to Greece. Indeed, the three strong figures of the American series whose season 6 ended last Sunday in the United States went to meet some Syrian refugees in a camp in Greece. And the meeting was great and rich in emotions on both sides.
"These are smart, hard-working individuals who want to go home," Lena Head said .
"They want to go back to their communities and their neighborhoods. They want their children to get an education. They want them to go to university and unfortunately find themselves stuck here. And they are incredibly sad. We can do better for them. We have to do better for them," the actress continued.
As for Maisie Williams , she does not mince her words and gives her true feelings about this sad situation: "For me, these are children with a lot of potential, hope and dreams. What is humanity doing at a time when these people are terribly in need?"

Extremely frank statements that we are not really used to hearing from television stars, but also from cinema, but which also show the involvement of some of them in the face of serious issues.
