Lo'Jo releases his fifteenth album [FONETIQ FLOWERS], and proves his inventiveness nourished by thousands of rich influences from all over the world planet.

Time has no grip on Lo'Jo, still inspired with this new album, [FONETIQ FLOWERS], and the clip of the first single, Café des Immorttels who hypnotize even the horses of the equestrian theater Zingaro.

This is a group like few we know. For almost thirty years, the Lo'Jo group has been pushing boundaries and practicing extraordinary musical mixtures with unwavering passion. This gives three decades to travel the roads between France, Eastern Europe and Africa, a dozen albums of adventurous music that has evolved over time and is enriched by these travels, these encounters, and a polymorphous music that oscillates between song and jazz, the Balkans and Africa. The craziest thing is that Lo'Jo's adventure seems not ready to end. The new album [FONETIQ FLOWERS] brings together guests like Eric Truffaz and Albin de la Simone for a vast waltz on the borders of world, rock, and Balkan music. Lo'Jo is embodied by its leader, Denis Péan, poet and founder of the group Lo'Jo, in which he is at the same time author, composer, performer and pianist. After more than fifteen albums recorded since the early 80s, hundreds of concerts on all continents, prestigious collaborations (Robert Plant, Tinariwen, Robert Wyatt, Archie Shepp …) the Angevin group rewrites history with a new album, Fonetiq Flowers, and its first single Café des Immorttels which benefits from a nice clip shot for Bartabas lovers with the equestrian circus Zingaro.

Here is the clip of Café des Immortals by Lo'Jo:

The group with very varied inspirations (gypsy, folk and even African) decided for this clip of Café des Immortals guests the horses of Zingaro. The result is splendid, as poetic as artistic, with this animal and first aspect that sticks to the music of this group authentically inhabited by the poetry of elsewhere.
