American singer Beyoncé lent her voice to Nala in 2019 for the live-action of The Lion King made in Disney. This collaboration may only be at its beginning. A new $100 million contract would be offered to the star.
A contract for the next Marvel
According to rumors revealed by the British magazine The Sun, the singer would be in negotiations with Disney. The contract would involve 90 million euros to see her in a future Marvel but also in two other "major projects" of The Walt Disney Company. The Marvel in question would be… the sequel to Black Panther ! Yes, yes, you read that right, Beyoncé should direct the soundtrack of the film whose release date is scheduled for 2022. The first part had already hit hard since Kendrick Lamar had made us travel to the kingdom of Wakanda. The success of the soundtrack has even been rewarded with two Grammy Awards. The successor had to live up to the King of hip-hop? Who better than Beyoncé to take on this role? This information, although hypothetical since not confirmed by the firm, does not seem so unlikely. The diva represents the African-American community in a way. Remember that Black Panther tells the story of T'Challa who returns to take his place on the throne of Wakanda, a futuristic African country, because very advanced in technologies. Beyoncé could therefore succeed Kendrick Lamar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQbjS0_ZfJ0
Beyoncé, important to Disney
The former singer of the group Destiny's Child would participate in "three major projects" of the Disney company. So that of Black Panther 2 but also another that concerns the narration of "new documentaries to come on Disney +". The third, however, is still unknown. An anonymous source told The Sun :
"Beyoncé has taken on an important role in the eyes of Disney and fits perfectly with its brand image."
This idea seems to be validated by the star herself. Last April, Beyoncé had indeed made an appearance in the show "Disney Family Singalong", set up on the occasion of confinement and organized by the house with big ears. Before singing "When You Wish Upon A Star," she said:
"I am very proud to be part of the Disney family. I want to dedicate this song, in partnership with Feeding America, to all the people who work on the front lines to keep us healthy. We are infinitely grateful."
A collaboration that delights his fans and that we hope will materialize! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlKth-yEeAY
