Annecy Festival 2017: discover the Pixar program

This animation film festival, created in 1960, returns to Annecy for a new edition in mid-June.This year, it will host several of the latest additions to Pixar Studios. Zoom on their program.

The international animation film festival returns to Annecy from 12 to 17 June 2017. This year, Disney Pixar studios have their share of screenings. The short film Lou and the works Cars and Coco will be screened during the week.

In parallel with these screenings will be held the award ceremony of the "Disney Art Challenge". This year, this competition open to students from 25 animation schools had the theme of the road trip. The awards will be presented by Lou's producer and director.

Friday, June 16:

  • Bonlieu, large room, 10am: Presentation of unpublished images of Coco and the short film Lou, in the presence of directors Lee Unkrich, Adrian Molina and producer Darla K. Aderson (for Coco) and Dave Mullins, director of Lou, accompanied by his producer Dana Murray.
  • 11:30 am: Disney Art Challenge awards ceremony, then VOST preview screening of Cars 3
  • 1pm: Lee Unkrich, Adrian Molina and Darla K. Anderson, for the film Coco , as well as Dave Mullins and Dana Murray for Lou, will be present at an autograph session at the festival shop.
  • 10:15 pm: outdoor screening of Cars 3
