The Annecy festival gave a very enthusiastic welcome to the next Disney and Pixar animated films. A look back at this 2018 edition, which transported festival-goers to extraordinary worlds full of adventure, laughter and emotions.
On the program three animated films, The Incredibles 2 by Brad Bird, Ralph 2.0by Rich Moore and BAO, a short film by Domee Shi. It is in front of a passionate audience that the Disney and Pixar animation teams unveiled Friday, June 15 some exclusive images of their new productions. It was also an opportunity for them to meet their fans during an autograph session to the delight of festival-goers.
About "The Incredibles 2"
The Incredibles are back! This time it is Helen who finds herself on the front of the stage with the mission to save the world from a terrible threat, leaving Boble to carry out the thousand and one tasks of daily life and to take care of Violet, Arrow and baby Jack-Jack.
It's a difficult change of pace for the family especially since no one really measures the extent of the incredible powers of the youngest…. The appearance of a new enemy leads the Parr and Frozone family to unite as never before to foil his Machiavellian plans.
About "BAO"
In BAO the new Disney/Pixar short film, a mother finds her life very empty since she no longer has children at home.But everything changes when one of her steam ravioli suddenly magically comes to life: here she is again the mother of a little boy full of enthusiasm and energy! The good mood is finally back, but the kid grows up very quickly, and she regretfully finds that nothing remains small and cute forever …
About "Ralph 2.0"
Ralph leaves the world of arcade games to venture into the limitless world of the Internet. Will the Web resist his legendary talent as a demolition man?
Ralph and his friend Vanellope von Schweetz will take all the risks by venturing into the strange world of the Internet in search of a spare part to repair the cabinet of Sugar Rush, the video game in which Vanellope lives.
