Actor Vin Diesel has confirmed that director Justin Lin will oversee episodes 9 and 10 of the "Fast & Furious" saga. He also took the opportunity to reveal one of the possible locations concerning the ninth part.

Hot in front! Here is (finally) news of the Fast & Furious saga! Vin Diesel, the star of the franchise, confirmed to Today that Justin Lin (who had supervised episodes 3 to 6) would direct this ninth installment as well as the tenth of the saga.

We remember that there was a time, there was talk that Vin Diesel goes back behind the camera to sign the end of the franchise as we knew it: it will not be so.The famous actor also took the opportunity to announce that the ninth episode of Fast & Furious would probably be set in Africa.

Initially, the Fast & Furious saga was focused on cars. From now on, it has reoriented itself since its 4th opus towards the rather uninhibited comic action becoming, thanks to this, one of the most profitable film series of the moment. It is noted that the seventh and eighth installments brought in $ 2.74 billion at the global box office. Bigre!

On the casting side, Dwayne Johnson (playing Agent Hobbs in the saga) recalled that he was not sure to return for the 9th film. Could it be due to the little quarrel he had with Vin Diesel ? We do not know anything about it but as a consolation, we will have the chance to find him in the credits of the spin-off whose character will be the hero alongside Jason Statham

This film does not yet have a title but it is expected for 2019 and will therefore shoot this year. The agenda of The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) is therefore as always quite busy since he is currently on the poster of the film Rampage – Out of Control since May 2 but we can also find him in Skyscraper at the cinema on July 11.

With these two announcements made by the actor Vin Diesel, we are (very) eager to hear the engines roar again for new races that will always be as crazy!
