In 2016, author J.K Rowling and director David Yates brought the first part of Fantastic Beasts to the big screen. Two years later, we gradually discover on which subject the second film will focus: Fantastic Beasts – The Crimes of GrindelWald

The adventures of Norbert Dragonneau continue but this time in a darker register. Indeed, according to an interview with Eddie Redmayne (who plays Norbert Dragonneau), this second chapter will look more like a thriller.

Just like Harry Potter, the various Fantastic Beasts films will become darker and darker, with bigger and bigger and more intense mysteries. Nevertheless, now that fans are familiar with the universe, the intensity and stakes of the story shouldn't take too long to set up.

The first game had already integrated characters known from the world of Harry Potter such as Dumbledore. In it, new characters evoked in the Harry Potter films will appear, such as Leta Lestrange (played by Zoe Kravitz), sister of Bellatrix Lestrange. For the rest of the cast, there is still Johnny Depp as Grindelwald, Jude Law as Dumbledore and of course Eddie Redmayne who plays Norbert Dragonneau, as well as Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein. The action is expected to take place mainly in Paris following Grindelwald's escape.

For all fans of the Harry Potter universe and fantastic beasts, a little more patience! Only a few months left to wait. Release scheduled for November 14, 2018.
