After the release of their third album I See You, The XX has just announced their own festival near the Skógarfoss waterfall in Iceland. From July 14 to 16, we will of course find the group but also Jamie XX, Jagwar Ma and Sampha.
2017 was marked by the return of our favorite English trio The XX after five years of absence. In January, they finally released their third album I See You filled with great songs like On Hold and Dangerous. During their winter tour, they had settled for a week in Brixton, a suburb of London for Night + Day.
A festival by The XX with The XX
This tour apparently inspired them to create a festival. While they will already do a world tour of festivals this summer, through Rock En Seine, the three members will establish their own festival in Iceland from July 14 to 16. Based near the Skógarfoss waterfall, Jamie, Romy and Oliver decided to invite all their favorite artists and bands in addition to them. On the program: Kamasi Washington, Jagwar Ma, Warpaint, Sampha and of course The XX and Jamie XX's solo project.
