But if Universal has not yet officially kicked off a Hobbs & Shaw 2, Dwayne Johnson has assured that the project is well underway.

"We're developing the next Hobbs & Shaw movie right now and I'm pretty excited about that… I'm just seeing the creative vision and the direction we're going to take… "
