Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, the next film following the adventures of Asterix and Obelix directed by Louis Clichy and Alexandre Astier, will land in cinemas for the end of 2018 ! The plot will revolve around the passing of the secret of the magic potion, when Panoramix, the druid of the famous Gallic village, decides to pass the recipe to a young druid to ensure the security of the village. Connoisseurs will have deduced it, it is not an adaptation of one of the comics of Goscinny and Uderzo, but a story unpublished by Clichy and Astier.

Alexandre Astier unveiled this June 1st on Twitter the poster of the film, at the top of which we can read "Keep it to yourself".

We will find none other than Christian Clavier dubbing the voice of Asterix, a character he had already had the chance to play in Asterix: Mission Cleopatra. Recall that previously, the voice of Asterix was that of the legendary Roger Carel, who had specified to retire after Asterix: The Domain of the Gods (also directed by Clichy and Astier). 

Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion will be released on December 5, 2018.
