According to Variety, the interpreter of Thor would be at the top of the list to play in the spin-off of Men in Black, succeeding Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
For some time now, Sony has been preparing a spin-off of the Men in Black franchise. There was an idea that this universe should be mixed with that of 21 Jump Street. Today, this idea seems to have fallen into disuse. However, the studio intends to revive the famous franchise born at the end of 1990. We followed the adventures of agents hired to fight the invasion of Earth by aliens.
But, coup de théâtre! Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will no longer be there… Indeed, according to Variety, Chris Hemsworth would be very courted to succeed them. However, it is not yet known who could accompany the star of Thor in this adventure. On the production side, it's F. Gary Gray (Fast & Furious 8) who should succeed Barry Sonnenfeld. On the script side, we will find Matt Holloway and Art Marcum (Iron Man).
The film is scheduled for release in June 2019. On the box office side, we note that the Men in Black franchise has already grossed more than 1.5 billion worldwide, the last film dating back to 2012.
Until then, we still have a little time before Chris Hemsworth delivers us from the clutches of the aliens but this time, it will be without his hammer …
