The western Brimstone should allow its Dutch director, Martin Koolhoven, to get his stripes on French territory. This feature film is an original project. The film will be in theaters on March 22. The Metropolitan has just unveiled an extract on the canvas featuring the excellent Guy Pearce.

Could Brimstone be called a feminist film? No, but the feature film focuses on the condition of women during the 19th century, a theme rarely addressed in this kind of register. In order to be able to best visualize the atmosphere of the film, just see its references: Brian Azzarello, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Garth Ennis… Authors who are known for the dark atmosphere they manage to infuse into their works.

The cast is also most attractive since we find within the cast: Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning (Sam I am sam).

We already know the next project of the director which will take place in Indonesia in the post-war period of the Second World War.
