It is never easy to close a story, especially when it comes to characters who have marked several generations. Belle and Sebastian 3: The final chapter marks the end of the legendary duo's big-screen adventures. The film adaptation of the 1965 series ends.
For this last part, we find once again Félix Bossuet (Sébastien) and Tchéky Karyo (César). Clovis Cornillac, famous French actor (known for the series Chefs, his role of Asterix and many other roles) is directing. He is not a connoisseur of this universe but he was convinced by the adventures register of this conclusion.
He does not officiate simply as a director since he is also the enemy of Belle and Sebastian in the film. His villain will seem straight out of a comic book since Clovis has called on a specialist. He wanted to stick to the spirit of mythical villains like Cruella in the 101 Dalmatians.
The film hits theaters on February 14. It is distributed by Gaumont.
A comic book adaptation of the film is available from Glénat. We will come back to it shortly.
