Solemn moment for fans of the Dark Knight: the costume of the Batman played by Robert Pattinson has finally been unveiled! And despite the grumbling of many fans (yes again…), it seems that this film is on the right track!
A sober suit, full of potential
After the rubber costume of Michael Keaton, the one that molded the nipples of George Clooney (horror vision), through the most realistic of Christian Bale or the very heavy one of Ben Affleck, here is the brand new design of Batman!
We can discover in the presentation video (below) a sober and stylized armor, with very marked contours. Pattinson seems very credible in this costume, especially because of his square jaw (very characteristic of the character of Bruce Wayne).
Note the striking resemblance of this costume to the design of the Arkham games, which is perhaps a clue as to the plot of this film. But the most striking thing about this costume is undeniably its logo! See for yourself.
If the symbol of the Dark Knight may seem singular at first, it immediately becomes more interesting when you realize what it is made of. Indeed, it seems that Batman chose to attach part of a revolver to it in order to compose his symbol.
And that's where everyone asks the same question: is this the gun that killed Thomas and Martha Wayne ? It's possible!
Fans who moan (again and again…)
If there's one thing viewers know how to do before they've even seen a movie: it's complaining. And when Robert Pattinson was announced as the new Batman, it didn't miss out. It doesn't matter that the actor has proven himself in films like Good Time, Damzel, Cosmopolis or High Life… The only thing that matters is that the gentleman played in one of the worst sagas of recent years: Twilight.
Obviously, many do not seem willing to forget this role, to the detriment of all the great films in which the actor has played since. The neurosis even went so far as to launch a petition for the actor to be replaced.

Remember that the film will be directed by Matt Reeves (to whom we owe the excellent Cloverfield and the latest opus of Planet of the Apes). We will also have the right to a five-star cast, since Robert Pattinson is added Zoé Kravitz, Paul Dano, Andy Serkis or Colin Farrell.
The Batman by Matt Reeves is undeniably full of potential! It remains to wait for the next information, hoping that the film is up to the means deployed.
