The live adaptation of Akira has not finished talking about her. One of them, Tetsuo, is a former guinea pig of a top-secret government project that he will try to overthrow.Katsuhiro Ōtomo, the author and artist of the manga, brought his work to the screen in 1988 with an animated film that became a reference in japanimation.
The live project intends to move the action to a Neo-Manhattan and give rise to two feature films each covering 3 volumes of the manga. Appian Way, Leonardo DiCaprio 's production company, is overseeing the adaptation. With the results that Thor 3 should generate, there is no doubt that Warner should set its sights on this young director Taika Waititi.
