On a track that sounds like a song by Noir Désir, Luchini is back! On display on November 7, 2018, he plays in Un Homme Pressé a big boss of the CAC 40 broken by a stroke.

We had not seen it on the big screen since Ma Loute, even if we had been able to appreciate it on the small during a passage in the series Dix Pour Cent last year.  The Man in a Hurry signs his return before a busy year for the actor

Luchini plays the role of Alain Wapler. A hyperactive and self-centered businessman, his life comes to a halt because of a cardiovascular accident. Not dead, but not far away since a whole part of himself disappears, including his memory and his ability to speak. The man rebuilds himself thanks to the help of Jeanne, a young speech therapist who reteaches him the use of words. The opportunity for Alain to resume his childhood dreams and especially to reconnect with his daughter.

A work on language

The film, co-signed by Hervé Mimran and Hélène Fillière, is the third production of the duo between the director and actress Leila Bekhti. The latter had revealed her talent in Mimran's first and very sympathetic comedy, All That Glitters . If it smells good the feel-good movie of the business character returning to its essentials, the story comes from a real fact about the CEO of Peugeot, Christian Streiff. The screenplay is also inspired by his autobiography: I was a man in a hurry

Accentuating the film on human fragility, the director shows what rebuilds a man. The notion of language, the domain of the main actor, is questioned. Also, much of the humor of the film comes from this clumsiness of the character, lucid in his intentions, but unable to properly articulate the right form.

A broken speaker, Luchini will come to play his anti-role, to manage in the meanders of a language of which he has lost the fluidity. But it is on this point of the film that we expect the most originality and freshness.
