Rian Johnson (Star Wars 8 – The Last Jedi), unveiled at the end of 2019 a very nice film: A Knives Drawn. After a reasonable success and a sequel already planned, the director decided to make public a version of the script. A Knives Drawn was nominated for the 2020 Oscars in the category "Best Original Screenplay". And we can understand why! The film is both a vibrant tribute to Agatha Christie's classics, while deconstructing the codes of this kind of thrillers. A style that will not please everyone, but which has the merit of being very marked.
