The cast of 6 Underground is becoming clearer with the arrival of Mélanie Laurent and Payman Maadi.
Little is known about 6 Underground, Michael Bay's next film, other than its cast. The main role will be played by Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern, Deadpool) and Variety reveals that Mélanie Laurent will also be there. Finally, the American actor of Iranian origin Payman Maadi, revealed to the general public thanks to Ashgar Farhadi's film A Separation, completes this cast.
Alongside 6 Underground, director Michael Bay is working on another project: Time Salvager. If this time the casting is not yet known, the action of the film has, as for it, already been unveiled. In a future where the Earth is toxic and abandoned by humans, the film tells the story of a man who travels to the past to find resources. It must fulfill its missions without altering the course of time.
For her part, the French actress Mélanie Laurent chains, since Inglourious Basterds, American productions. Soon, she will also star in the new Chris Weitz, Operation finale, with Ben Kingsley, Oscar Isaac and Joe Alwyn. This other film focuses on the 1960 hunt and capture of former Nazi leader Adolf Eichmann. The director is also releasing her first English-language feature film, Galveston, which will hit screens in October.
6 Underground is set to hit the big screen in 2019. We hope soon for the first details about the synopsis, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool).
