Microsoft, the industrial colossus known to all, will be present as every year at E3 and for the 2018 edition, promises to see things big.
E3 is the unmissable event in June. That's why, Microsoft under the impetus of Phil Spencer, seems to be ready to change the nature of its shows. Without ever being in the worst, Xbox conferences probably suffer from a more classic and less spectacular pattern than the competition.
The Xbox brand has been present since 2000 at E3 and is one of the major players of the show by energizing the indie scene and offering exclusives. It is true that 2017 was a mixed year for AAA novelties with the flip side of Scalebound. Nevertheless, Xbox Services announce that E3 2018 will be "the biggest show in our history". It is to be hoped that this ambition will be realized, the world of gamers imperatively needs healthy competition, always pushing studios to surpass themselves in AAA innovation.
In partnership with the Entertainment Software Association (organizer of E3), the Xbox family announces that the official Xbox conference will take place at the Microsoft Theater, a stage in the heart of the L.Live and a stone's throw from the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). The Xbox conference will take place on June 10, 2018 at 1pm PT or 10pm CET. The Theater will also be the place to centralize the Xbox presence at E3, offering visitors and professionals to attend the various activities and take the games in hand.
A Microsoft booth will also be present at the LACC, dedicated to Mixer and where it will be possible to play, broadcast, interact and follow the news of E3.
It is therefore a change of strategy that is looming since Microsoft no longer focuses at the LACC but on several places such as the Microsoft Theater.
The Xbox conference will take place on June 10, 2018 at 1pm PT (10pm CET).
