A compilation of the Assassin's Creed games could soon be available on the Switch. At least that's what two brands in Germany suggest.
The information would not come from Ubisoft but from a simple product sheet. On the website of two German brands, it is possible to have access to a product called "Assassin's Creed Compilation or ACC- Nintendo Switch". This product would actually correspond to a compilation of some Assassin's Creed games, available on the Switch. Problem: nothing is certain at the moment.
Real product or simple mistake?
Hard to believe 100% this information that arrives like a hair in the soup. Indeed, nothing announced the release of a new compilation of Assassin's Creed games. Even less on the Nintendo Switch. It must also be said that the latest game in the license was released last October. This one, named Assassin's Creed Odyssey, was generally acclaimed by critics, just like its predecessor. It is therefore legitimate to wonder about this famous product sheet visible on the German sites Mediamarkt and Saturn. Although no visuals are available, the EAN (European Article Number) of the two products is similar. The same goes for item numbers.
If the price was previously displayed (as shown in a screenshot taken by the Actugaming.fr site), this is no longer the case. Both brands also display that the item is "not available" or "unfortunately sold out". A relatively shady message considering that the product was never put on sale and that it was scheduled for March 2019. This sudden backpedaling could therefore also be due to an error on the part of the two German shops.
The release of another compilation of Assassin's Creed games on the Switch is pleasing (compilations already exist but in other media). However, if this information turns out to be correct, we will still have to wait. Indeed, nothing has been officially communicated by Ubisoft.
