MACH Team today unveiled a trailer at E3 2018 for SMACH Z, the portable console of PC games.
SMACH Z is a portable gaming console with a 6" touchscreen powerful enough to natively play AAA PC games in high definition. Designed to bring mobility to the PC gaming world, the SMACH Z is expected to launch in the 4th quarter of 2018 with two editions: the SMACH Z and the SMACH Z PRO.
"We are very excited to present the first hands-on demo of the prototype version of SMACH Z to the media at E3 2018 and look forward to the first feedback, which will be crucial in bringing the fully functional beta to Gamescom 2018," said Daniel. Fernandez, CEO of the SMACH team. "It's an ambitious project, but every step brings us closer to the ultimate gaming console that PC gaming fans have been waiting for."
SMACH Z has raised over $740,000 through Kickstarter and Indiegogo crowdfunding campaigns. To achieve top-notch operational and visual performance, the SMACH Z will launch with an AMD Ryzen ™ Embedded V1000 processor and Radeon ™ Vega 8 Graphics, running Windows 10 or Linux. Gamers will be able to immerse themselves in portable HD games at extremely competitive prices from day one, at no extra cost, as all titles in users' online game library will be available on their SMACH Z, wherever they are.
Featuring customizable haptic controllers suitable for PC games that can adapt to any gaming style, the all-in-one gaming system can be connected to a TV via HDMI. This makes it a good choice not only for cutting-edge graphics powerhouses, but also for local multiplayer titles and retro games. Like a desktop computer, SMACH Z can serve as a multimedia center, capable of playing 4K videos, or be used to browse the Internet, make Skype calls, or stream videos.
