The Reigns license offers since October 18, 2018 its opus Game of Thrones. Launched in 2016, it already has three versions of its swipe concept.
Accessible on mobile and PC, Reigns games offer you to embody a figure of power: king, queen or aspiring to the throne of Westeros depending on the opus. The principle is simple: make important decisions with a simple swipe right or left, Tinder style. Like the previous Reigns, the Game of Thrones version makes you manage 4 gauges: army, church, treasury and love of the people. You have to compose to keep them balanced, to avoid a heave for example. However, several additions enhance the concept.
What's new for the Game of Thrones edition?
This time, the title offers 9 playable characters, to unlock over the course of the game, which have their own ending. You can play as Daenerys, Jon Snow, Gendry, Sansa, Arya, Bran, Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion! Of course, it is not enough to unlock them. We will have to survive the winter with them, and the procedure is different for everyone. To help you, turn to the crows who will give you clues according to the characters.
Another novelty, you can count on different special abilities that can save your life. Fortunately, they don't make the game too easy, as you have to unlock them first. Moreover, they intervene only in specific cases.

In summary: for a very reasonable price (around 4 € depending on the support), Reigns: Game of Thrones will not distract you less than several hours. Even if you've worn out your fingers or mouse on previous Reigns, the new features bring enough variety to rediscover the concept. One caveat though: the game is sandwiched between the 7th and 8th seasons, so be sure to be up to date in your viewing!
